TO BUILD A CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM
Carolina Football is poised to make its next important step — to compete consistently for championships. The Football Practice Complex planned for central campus will give the program a much-needed practice facility on par with programs seeking that top level of play. The project exhibits a tangible and significant financial commitment to football at the University of North Carolina. “This facility will help us continue to build a championship program,” says Head Coach Larry Fedora.
CHAMPIONSHIP PREPARATION
Joining beautiful Kenan Stadium and the Kenan Football Center as part of the home footprint for Carolina Football, the Football Practice Complex will bring state-of-the-art fields and practice spaces to the program. The project will include many needed upgrades and additions:
• Indoor facility with a 120-yard synthetic field for optimal preparation in all conditions
• 120-yard outdoor practice field with synthetic turf
• 120-yard outdoor practice field with grass surface
• Additional space for strength & conditioning training and sports medicine
