SAN JUAN, P.R. --- No. 13 North Carolina did not drop a set in a pair of 7-0 wins over East Carolina and the University of Puerto Rico Wednesday. Zoe De Bruycker, Caroline Price and Tessa Lyons were double winners for the Tar Heels, who improved to 10-4 on the year with the sweep.
After handling East Carolina with relative ease in the morning match, UNC was even more dominant in the afternoon match against Division II UPR. Carolina won all three doubles matches 8-0 before dropping a total of two games in six singles wins.
UNC will return to Chapel Hill before making a trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., on March 18 to face Michigan. Carolina will then begin conference play in earnest against NC State at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center on March 21.
