GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Taylor Brown (gymnastics), Shinann Featherston (women's tennis), Blair Meiggs (rowing) and Tyler Zeller (men's basketball) were among 42 Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes honored Wednesday at the annual ACC Postgraduate Awards Luncheon at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at the Four Seasons.
Brown, Featherston and Meiggs were selected for Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarships. Zeller is one of six recipients of Weaver-James-Corrigan Honorary Awards, which recognize the academic and athletic performance of honorees who intent to compete at the professional level instead of attending graduate school right away.
