CHAPEL HILL, N.C.-- The University of North Carolina softball program will soon begin its 2012 Summer Camps, including the addition of two shorter camps: a two-day hitting clinic June 12-13 as well as a slapping/short game clinic June 18. All camps will be conducted by the Carolina softball staff. There are still spots open in all of the individual camps and there is only ONE "team" spot still available in the 16U team camp June 21. The goal of Carolina Softball Camps is to provide each camper with the opportunity to improve her current skill level. Since the beginning of our camps, the single most important factor has been hiring outstanding coaches. In addition to the Tar Heel coaching staff and players, the camp will consist of collegiate players, outstanding NCAA, NAIA, junior college coaches and well-respected high school coaches from the Carolina region and throughout the country. Come enjoy the excitement, enthusiasm and knowledge that these coaches bring.
