Slater/Vaille Pick Up Doubles Win To Open ITA Regional

Slater and Vialle won 8-6 over UNC Wilmington's Alyssa Ritchie and Angie Sekely.
They will face Kimmy Guerin and Andrea Retolaza from Wake Forest on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Ashley Dai and Tessa Lyons received a bye Thursday and will face NC State's Rachel James-Baker and Joelle Kissell on Friday at 9:15 a.m.
No. 2-seed Hayley Carter and Jamie Loeb also had a bye on Thursday and will take on Coastal Carolina's duo of Marie Babayan and Romaine Delay on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.
In singles, Dai will go up against South Carolina's Katerina Popova at 10:30 a.m., tomorrow morning, while Slater faces Clemson's Jessy Rompies at 1 p.m.
Lyons takes on Wake's Stacie Kissell at 2:30 p.m., while Vialle faces Frida Jansaker of Elon at 3:30 p.m.
Last but not least, No. 2-seed Hayley Carter will take on James-Baker from NC State at 4:30 p.m.
The event continues through Monday.
