Tar Heels Travel To Campbell Wednesday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina is set for a mid-week matchup with Campbell, facing the Fighting Camels Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Coming into the Game
North Carolina is 22-12 (4-2) after finishing 3-2 last week with doubleheader run-ruled wins over NC Central on Tuesday, and dropping the series 2-1 with Florida State this weekend. Campbell is 20-11 overall and 4-2 in the Big South after also winning a doubleheader over NC Central on Monday.
The Tar Heels are 57-14 all-time against Campbell, beating the Fighting Camels 9-0 at home in five innings in 2012.
Top Tar Heels
Senior Constance Orr leads the Tar Heel offense, hitting .351 with 34 hits, including a team-leading seven home runs. Orr has tallied 28 RBIs while scoring 20 runs. Fellow senior Haleigh Dickey (.340) has 32 hits, including five homers, and 23 RBIs on the season, while sophomore Amber Parrish has 13 RBIs on 24 hits, with three home runs, including a two-run homer this past weekend in UNC's 5-4 win over FSU.
Junior Lori Spingola (13-9) has tallied 159 strikeouts in the circle for Carolina with a 2.65 ERA, pitching 15 complete games and 134.2 innings this season. Juniors Ashley Bone and Sara Buchholz have a combined record of 8-3, totaling 57 strikeouts with 52.2 innings in the circle between the two of them.
Scouting Campbell
The Fighting Camels are led by Ericka Nesbitt (.460), who has tallied 40 hits with 12 RBIs and has scored 27 runs this season. Raven Lee has 39 RBIs on 25 hits, and Stephanie Jones (.389) has 35 hits with 23 RBis while crossing the plate 25 times.
Pitchers Brittany Arnn (4-5) has a 1.31 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 59.0 innings, and Courtney Roberts (9-3) has a 3.14 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 69.0 innings.
