Tar Heels in the NBA
Brandan Wright had 10 points off the bench, and Vince Carter added four...Tyler Zeller had four rebounds off the bench in that same game...Raymond Felton had nine points and six assists, but the Knicks fell to the Nets...Kendall Marshall had three points and eight assists...Ed Davis had four points and three rebounds for Memphis.
Marvin Williams is a big Seahawks fan, and is fired up for the Super Bowl...Good to see Marshall getting some national coverage for his play with the Lakers.
Football
Sylvester Williams was a big part of shutting down New England's running game...Sounds like a bad ending to the Hakeem Nicks era in New York, as he's not expected back with the Giants...An interesting visual representation of where college football players come from...
Olympic sports
There's been an addition to the speaker list for the First Pitch Dinner...Men's tennis got a win at No. 31 VCU...Women's hoops is up to No. 7 in the AP poll, the highest since January 2010...
Today's games
None.
