Today in Tar Heel history
Feb. 4, 1986: Top-ranked Carolina pulled out a 78-77 win over second-ranked Georgia Tech in Atlanta, getting big plays down the stretch from Jeff Lebo, Joe Wolf and Steve Hale. Fun fact: Mark Price, who was the key to Tech's very good teams in the mid-80s, now has a daughter, Caroline, who is a women's tennis player at UNC.
