Ten points and eight rebounds for John Henson in a start against the Timberwolves...Lot of production for the Tar Heel reserves for Dallas, but not much from anyone else in a loss to Golden State. Vince Carter had 10 points, Brandan Wright posted nine points and six rebounds and Wayne Ellington added five. Harrison Barnes scored 13 for the Warriors.

The baseball team dominated George Mason...Men's lacrosse did likewise to Bucknell...Two Tar Heels made the final at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships.
Today's games
Women's tennis faces Appalachian State in Charleston, while softball visits Coastal Carolina. In Chapel Hill, baseball hosts Gardner-Webb at 1 p.m. on GoHeels TV and women's lacrosse hosts Elon at 2:30 p.m. on GoHeels TV. Note that both of those start times have been moved up due to the threat of rain and high winds in Chapel Hill.

March 12, 2011: Harrison Barnes set a freshman tournament record by pumping in 40 points against Clemson in the ACC Tournament semifinals. The Tar Heels needed every one of his points--which tied Tyler Hansbrough for UNC's freshman scoring record and were the first time any ACC player scored 40 in the tournament since Randolph Childress in 1995--to escape Clemson in overtime, 92-87.
