NEXT ON THE TEE
Carolina travels to Awendaw, S.C., this Sunday through Tuesday to play in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The 54-hole event will be played at Bulls Bay Golf Club which features a par 72, 7,363-yard layout. One round will be played each day with tee times starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday, at 9 a.m. on Monday and at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. This will be Carolina's fourth event of the spring campaign as the Tar Heels finished 4th at their last outing, the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla.

"The Hootie is one of our team's favorite events. Bulls Bay sets up well for our players and we have played well there in the past. Four of our guys played in this tournament last year so they know the course well. It is a challenging course because the wind tends to blow pretty hard so controlling your ball flight is at a premium. The field is strong so we look forward to playing against a lot of ACC and SEC teams this week."
