DEDHAM, Mass. - The eighth-ranked North Carolina men's tennis team (17-3, 4-1 ACC) rolled to its fourth ACC victory with a 7-0 sweep of Boston College (4-9, 0-5 ACC) in Dedham, Mass. on Friday evening.
The Tar Heels swept all three doubles matches before surrendering only one set in singles play.
In notable results, Carolina's 10th-ranked Brayden Schnur tallied a 6-3, 6-2 victory on court one over the Eagles' Philip Nelson, and 25th-ranked Ronnie Schneider cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win against Jonathan Raude at the No. 2 spot.
Schnur and Schneider - both freshmen - have combined for a 29-3 dual-match singles record this spring.
On court three, No. 58 Brett Clark picked a straight-sets triumph, while junior Esben Hess-Olesen got back on track with a three-set victory on court four.
Freshman Jack Murray continued his strong freshman campaign with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court five.
Tar Heel senior Nelson Vick also got on the board with a 6-1, 6-4 defeat of Kyle Childree on court six.
Carolina's weekend road trip will conclude with a 5 p.m. match at No. 9 Notre Dame on Sunday.
