1. What does it mean to be a student-athlete at North Carolina?
Being a student-athlete at North Carolina means representing your team and school everywhere you go. We are to set examples for and show respect to those around us. Being an athlete is such a privilege that we should not take for granted.
2. What is your favorite thing about playing for UNC softball?
I love the group of girls I get to play with, as well as the coaching staff. We have so much fun together on and off the field. I also love the many opportunities I get to travel all over the country and visit places I have never gone before.3. What did you take away from working with The Program during preseason?
The Program taught me to pay attention to little things and that communication is the key to success. Through each rigorous activity, I was able to learn more about some of my teammates' strengths and weaknesses. Overall, I thought The Program brought the team closer and allowed us to work together as one unit.
4. How do you like to spend your free time outside of class and softball?
Outside of class and softball, I will most likely be sleeping or just relaxing. I like to listen to music and just hang out. I will occasionally watch TV and talk with friends, but more likely than not, I am doing absolutely nothing but relaxing!5. Fun fact - what is something most people don't know about you?
I used to do competitive gymnastics. I was a gymnast for about six years when I was younger.6. If you could go to dinner with a famous person, who would it be?
I would go to a pizza place with Jennifer Aniston. I think she is a very good actress, and I really like the movies and shows she's in. I also think she is a good person that would be really fun to get to know. I would go to a pizza place because I am extremely picky, but pizza is one of the few foods I do like.7. What is your greatest strength as a softball player?
My greatest strength would be my power hitting from the left side of the plate.
