Carolina Posts 7-0 Sweep Of FSU

North Carolina (21-3, 10-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) did not drop a set all afternoon long, winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
Top-ranked Jamie Loeb improved to 42-2 on the season (11-0 ACC) with a 6-1, 6-1 victory to set the tone early.
Kate Vialle was next to finish on court six, winning 6-1, 6-0 to run her season record to 15-4, 10-1 in the league. No. 47 Caroline Price clinched the victory with a 6-2, 6-3 win on court three. She is 19-3 this season and 9-1 in the conference.
At #2 singles, Hayley Carter won 6-1, 6-3 - improving to 38-6 overall for the No. 7 ranked player in the nation. She is also 9-1 in ACC play.
Whitney Kay and Ashley Dai followed with straight-set wins at courts four and five, respectively, to complete the sweep of the Seminoles.
In doubles, Kay and Price won 8-1 to secure the opening point of the match. Tessa Lyons and Dai were first to finish, also winning 8-1 on court three.
Carolina will host Maryland next Sunday at 2 p.m., in the final home match of the regular season. Seniors Laura Slater and Lyons will be honored during Senior Day.
