Schneider Named All-ACC Academic

GREENSBORO, N.C. - University of North Carolina freshman Ronnie Schneider was named Thursday to the 2014 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team as announced by the conference office.
Earlier this year Schneider was named to the All-ACC Team while being named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Player To Watch for the Carolinas Region.
Schneider had a brilliant freshman year for Carolina, going 34-9 in singles and 28-6 in doubles play.
He is a business administration major from Bloomington, Ind.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
