Golfer Patrick Selected All-America Scholar

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - University of North Carolina golfer Bailey Patrick as been selected a 2014 Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar.
A starter in all of Carolina's tournaments this past year, Patrick carded six top-25 finishes. The rising senior from Charlotte, N.C., captured his first collegiate win at the Carpet Capital Collegiate, the first event last fall. His top outing in the spring came at the Seminole Intercollegiate where he tied for eighth place. Patrick boasts a 74.00 stroke average, second on the team. He fired four under-par rounds, two in the 60s, and four even par rounds. Earlier this summer, Patrick was the runner-up at the North Carolina Amateur.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.Players Mentioned
