O'Donnell Leads Symetra Tour Championship By Three Strokes

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Catherine O'Donnell shot a 2-under 70 in the third round to take the lead at the Symetra Tour Championship on Saturday. O'Donnell has a three stroke lead over three competitors heading into the final round.
The former Tar Heel is now 13-under-par for the tournament at 203 strokes. In her third round, O'Donnell had birdies on four holes, but also carded a double bogey, her first of the tournament. O'Donnell only has two bogeys for the entire tournament as well.
Former UNC golfer, Katherine Perry, is in contention at 9-under-par for the tournament. Perry fired a round-low 66 on Saturday to move into a tie for fifth. Perry had a hot putter on the day as she only needed 22 putts on the round. She was also perfect driving the ball off the tee, hitting 14 of 14 fairways.
Allie White finished the day at 1-under-par 71 and 4-under-par 212 for the tournament. White managed two birdies to one bogey in the third round and is tied for 25th.
Casey Grice, another former Tar Heel, shot 70 on Saturday. Grice is currently eighth on the Symetra Tour's earnings list for the year and finishing within the top 10 guarantees an LPGA Tour Card for the following year. Grice had three birdies to one bogey in the third round and is tied for 28th at 3-under-par for the tournament.
