DePaolo Reaches Singles Final At NC State Invite

UNC senior Stuart DePaolo reached the finals of the Red Draw at the NC State Invite in Raleigh but fell to UNC Greensboro's Connor Thompson Sunday 2-6, 7-6(2), 6-1.
DePaolo advanced through the 16-player draw with wins over UNCG's Will Albright, Elon's Petar Tomic and Georgia Southern's Ristomatti Lanne.
Senior Chad Hoskins also played in the event, falling to Georgia Southern's Eduardo Landin in his opening match but winning a consolation draw match against Michael Ruamthong of William & Mary, 6-0, 6-4. Hoskins then fell to East Carolina's Fredric Lehfeldt 6-1, 6-2 to wrap up the weekend.
