Four Tar Heel Swimmers Named All-ACC Academic

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The 2014-15 All-ACC Academic Teams for swimming and diving were named Tuesday by the conference office.
The North Carolina Tar Heels were represented by four swimmers. The honorees include:
Patrick Riess, Sophomore, New Orleans, La., Undeclared, 3.648 cumulative GPA
Katie McKay, Sophomore, Holmdel, N.J., Biology & Psychology Major, 3.965 cumulative GPA
Emma Nunn, Junior, Richmond, Va., Romance Languages & Global Studeis Major, 3.649 cumulative GPA
Abby Fisher, Sophomore, Kinnelon, N.J., Exercise and Sports Science & Psychology Major, 3.951 cumulative GPA
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
