CHAPEL HILL - No. 2 North Carolina earned a 4-0 victory over Dartmouth on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship inside Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

North Carolina (29-1) finished a perfect 13-0 at home in 2015 and is now just one dual victory away from tying the school record of 30 wins set back in 2009-10.

For the second day in a row, the doubles combination of Caroline Price and Kate Vialle set an early tone for the Tar Heels, winning 8-0 on court three.

UNC's other new doubles tandem of Jamie Loeb and Ashley Dai followed soon after with an 8-4 victory on court two to give Carolina the early 1-0 advantage over the 31st ranked Big Green.

Whitney Kay was first to finish in singles for the Tar Heels On court four, she picked up 6-2, 6-3 victory to make it 2-0 in favor of UNC.

Playing on the next court over on five, Vialle turned it into a 3-0 UNC advantage with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Julia Schroeder.

Hayley Carter clinched the match on court two, winning 7-6, 6-4 over Katherine Yau to send the Tar Heels to the NCAA Round of 16 for the sixth-consecutive season.

Carolina will face 15th-seed Miami on Friday, May 15 in Waco, Texas.
