Tar Heels Hit Three Long Balls To Complete Sweep Of GT

BLACKSBURG, VA – North Carolina senior catcher Amber Parrish has been named to the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament team, the ACC announced after Saturday's championship game.

Parrish blasted a two-run home run in the first inning of the Tar Heels' 3-2 win over Virginia Tech in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Second seeded Carolina was upset by sixth seeded Pittsburgh 4-0 in the semifinals on Friday. Parrish recorded a single to end the week 3-5 with a .600 batting average.

Top seeded Florida State defeated Pitt 6-2 on Saturday in the championship game.
