UNC Tennis Places Seven On Honor Roll

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - A total of 339 North Carolina student-athletes earned spots on the 2014-15 Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll, announced this week by ACC Commissioner John Swofford. The Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
Seven members of the 2015 NCAA quarterfinalist Carolina men's tennis team were named to the Honor Roll, representing 63.7 percent of the members of Coach Sam Paul's squad.
Senior Esben Hess-Olesen was honored for the fourth successive year while junior Connor Daly was named to the honor squad for the third time. Second-time honorees were senior Oystein Steiro and sophomore Ronnie Schneider.
Three Tar Heels were named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the first time - senior Andrew Gores, junior Brett Clark and freshman Robert Kelly.
