Rachel Jones And Partner Tie For 2nd At CGA Championship

NEWTON, N.C. – Rachel Jones and her partner finished tied for second at the 2015 Carolinas Women's Four-Ball Championship on Wednesday. Jones and partner Alexis Kershaw shot a 1-under 71 today to finish 6-under, 138 for the tournament.
After posting no bogeys in the 5-under round yesterday Jones and Kershaw tallied three today to go along with four birdies. They finished only one stroke behind the winning team.
Across the country Lexi Harkins competed finished the second round of the 2015 Women's TRANS Amateur Championship with a 2-over 74. Harkins is 5-over 149 after two days and is tied for 26th.
Harkins had four bogeys to go with two birdies in her second round. Harkins started off with three bogeys in her first eight holes with just one birdie. Harkins rallied from there to get to 1-over, but finished with another bogey on her 15th hole.
