Five Tar Heels In Preseason ITA Rankings

Five Tar Heels have earned spots in the 2015 Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Men's Division I preseason rankings, announced Tuesday by the ITA. With that total, North Carolina is tied for the second-highest number of players on the list, just behind Virginia with six. Florida also has five.
Two UNC players are ranked in the top 20 in singles. Brayden Schnur, a junior from Pickering, Ontario, is ranked No. 9, and Ronnie Schneider, a junior from Bloomington, Ind., is No. 14.
Brett Clark, a senior from Naples, Fla., is at No. 51. Jack Murray, a junior from Beverly Hills, Mich., is No. 89. Robert Kelly, a sophomore from Fontainebleau, France, is No. 105.

Additionally, Clark and Kelly are ranked 18th in doubles.
Fall play kicks off this weekend for the team, as Tar Heels are in action at the Oracle/ITA Masters in Malibu, Calif., and closer to home at the Fab 4 Invitational in Cary, N.C.
