Softball To Air On 12 National Broadcasts

CHAPEL HILL - Carolina softball has been selected for 12 national broadcasts by ESPN and its affiliates, including a pair of televised games against Notre Dame to air on ESPNU on April 24-25. UNC will be featured on ESPN3 five times and on the Longhorn Network five times.
The Tar Heels begin the season in Austin, Texas, at the Texas Classic on Feb. 12-14. All five Carolina games will be broadcast live on the Longhorn Network, which is available to any customers with LHN in their broadcast package both on television and on WatchESPN.com.
Carolina begins the month of April on ESPN3, with a national live stream of its ACC series against Louisville on April 2 and 3.
At the request of ESPN, the Tar Heels will play Notre Dame in a Sunday-Monday series on April 24-25, with ESPNU televising the first and third games of the series on Senior Weekend.
UNC concludes the regular season with a doubleheader at Georgia Tech on Sunday, May 8, with both games being streamed live on ESPN3.
Additionally, the entire ACC Tournament will have national coverage, with all quarterfinal and semifinal games streamed on ESPN3 and broadcast on the ACC Regional Sports Network, while the ACC Championship will air live on ESPN at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.
The majority of Carolina's remaining home games will be streamed live on GoHeelsTV, and many away games will have online streaming available as well.
