Tour Kenan, Beat Cancer
October 31, 2017 | Football, Student-Athlete Development
CHAPEL HILL—UNC Athletics is partnering with TourKenanBeatCancer to help raise funds for the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The program will provide tours of a Tar Heel athletics facility for a fee, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Lineberger Center.
The pilot program will include the Kenan Football Center during the remainder of the fall semester in 2017 with the possibility to add other facilities in the future.
The program is led by former Tar Heel football player Stephen Albright, a current Kenan-Flagler Business School student and cancer survivor. Albright has arranged for payments made to the TourKenanBeatCancer site to go directly to Lineberger.
Here's a message from Albright on the program's website:

Thanks for your support!
My name is Stephen Albright and I have a unique connection to both the UNC football team and the UNC Cancer Center. I was recruited to play football at Carolina, but during my freshman season I was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy, I am now fully healed, but I was left with a realization – I can help others who are fighting the same battle I did.
With your help, we can make a difference in hundreds of children's lives. For only $20, you can receive a full tour of Kenan Memorial Stadium and the Kenan Football Center. Even if you're unable to attend a tour, donations of any size can go a long way.
Thank you, and Go Heels!
