Had a Win and a Second

Tar Heel senior Ben Griffin is the Atlantic Coast Conference's Player of the Mo th for October 2017. The Chapel Hill native won the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in record fashion and was second at the UNCG Grandover Collegiate, Griffin set UNC records for a 54-hole tournament when he finished at 19-under-197 in winning on his home course.He shot 67-63-67 in taking home the title at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate for the second time in his college career. He shot three 71s en route to a runnerup finish in Greensboro. Overall, he shot a combined 18-under-par in four events in October.
