
Carter Wins 150th Singles Match In Sweep Of Wolfpack

North Carolina (12-1) earned identical 6-1 victories in doubles on courts one and three to gain the 1-0 advantage over the Wolfpack (8-4).
No. 19 Jessie Aney got the ball rolling in singles with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Anna Rogers in court three.
No. 4 Sara Daavettila added a 6-1, 6-3 win on court two over Adriana Reami, and No. 3 Hayley Carter clinched the Tar Heel win - 7-5, 6-2 - over No. 30 Martina Frantova.
The victory for Carter was her 150th career singles win, extending her school record.
Chloe Ouellet-Pizer also won in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5, over Amanda Rebol, and No. 40 Alexa Graham and No. 70 Makenna Jones earned three set wins to make it a clean sweep over NC State.
Carolina hosts Clemson on Friday at 3 p.m.
