March 21, 2017 | Membership

To Build a Championship Program
Carolina Football is poised to make its next important step – to compete consistently for championships. The Football Practice Complex planned for central campus will give the program a much-needed facility on par with programs seeking that top level of play. The project exhibits a tangible and significant financial commitment to football at the University of North Carolina.

- Indoor facility with 120-yard synthetic turf field for optimal preparation in all conditions
- 120-yard outdoor practice field with synthetic turf
- 120-yard outdoor practice field with grass surface
- Additional space for strength & conditioning training and sports medicine

In the Heart of Campus
The Football Practice Complex will be built in the heart of central campus – utilizing the space currently occupied by the grass and turf practice fields at Navy Field and Henry Stadium. The Football indoor facility will connect to the new Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium, and will feature a pedestrian walkway that connects the southeast side of campus and central campus. The two new outdoor practice fields will run parallel to the indoor facility, providing ample field space to maximize game preparation and practice efficiency.

Please Consider a Gift to the Football Practice Complex
You have the opportunity to directly help Carolina Football consistently compete at the championship level. This project is the top priority for Coach Fedora and the football program. The cost of the Football Practice Complex project is $32 million. Your gifts will secure the ability of Carolina to attract the best student-athletes to Chapel Hill, and to give them the practice facilities they need to succeed on the gridiron. Please consider a gift to the Football Practice Complex. Your support will provide Carolina Football the resources they need to make the next critical step in building a championship program.
