CHAPEL HILL—Construction is well underway on a series of new University of North Carolina athletics facilities, including the football indoor practice facility, the soccer and lacrosse stadium, the track & field and practice fields complex near Finley Golf Course and the field hockey complex.
Several Tar Heel teams will play in new, temporary venues during the 2017-18 academic year during the completion of construction. Men's soccer will host nine games at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, as well as games in the Triad area as well. Women's soccer will play five games at WakeMed in Cary. Field hockey will play its home games at Duke this fall.
