Former Tar Heel Leslie Cloots Qualifies for Ladies European Tour

MARRAKECH, Morocco – After leading through the first two rounds of the Ladies Euopean Tour Qualifying School, former Tar Heel Leslie Cloots placed 17th at the Lalla Aicha Tour School to earn a qualifying spot in the 2019 tour.
As a top 25 finisher at Marrakech, Morocco's Amelkis Golf Club, Cloots, a native of Antwerp, Belgium, earned category 8 membership of the LET for 2019.
Cloots shot 69 (-3) and 67 (-5) to lead the field through the first two rounds before wrapping up the tournament with a 355 (-5). The 2017 graduate carded 18 birdies and one eagle throughout the week.
