Tar Heels In Action In Tulsa Monday

Four Tar Heels will be in action Monday at the 2018 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the tournament launches into singles and doubles qualifying Monday and Tuesday, with the main draw matches set for Oct. 4-8.

As singles qualifying gets underway Monday morning, senior Blaine Boyden plays Ohio State's Kyle Seelig at 9:30, sophomore Mac Kiger takes on Oklahoma State's Artur Dubinski at 10, and freshman Brian Cernoch faces Auburn's Matteo De Vincentis at 10:30. (All times CT.)

Also on Monday, Cernoch and Kiger team up to face Oklahoma State's Maxime Tybar and Dubinski at 2:30 in the doubles Round of 64. Boyden and senior Anu Kodali take on the top-seeded Ohio State duo of Martin Joyce and Hunter Tubert at 3 p.m..

UNC's William Blumberg won the singles event in Tulsa in 2017, and he and Robert Kelly finished second in doubles. This year, Blumberg is competing at the Stockton ATP Challenger, where he won on Sunday, beating Canada's Steven Diez (ATP 341) 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.
