Women's Javelin Postponed to Friday at NCAAs

AUSTIN, Texas — North Carolina's Madison Wiltrout will now compete in the women's javelin final on Friday at 2:30 p.m. CT after severe weather delays postponed the field events at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday.
HOW TO FOLLOW
Live stream action of each event will be available courtesy of ESPN3/WatchESPN throughout championship week, and television broadcasts of the events can be watched on ESPN2 Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and on ESPN Friday.

Nicole Greene - High Jump
Greene, a redshirt-junior from Ponte Vedra, Fla., will compete in her first ever NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships after finishing 13th at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in 2016 and 23rd in 2017. A three-time All-America performer and the 2018 NCAA Indoor Champion, Greene has wasted no time coming back from two redshirt seasons. She was seeded first heading into the east regional competition after clearing a personal-best and title-winning mark of 6-2 (1.88 meters) at the 2019 ACC Outdoor Championships. Greene has the second-best jump in NCAA Division I competition this season.

Wiltrout, a redshirt-freshman from Connellsville, Pa., will also be making her first appearance on the NCAA Championship stage. Her mark of 182-5 (55.60 meters) at the ACC Championships won her the event title and broke her own school record. Wiltrout finished fifth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round and is set to compete in the second of two women's javelin flights.
