
Tar Heels Release 2019-20 Women’s Golf Schedule

CHAPEL HILL – The University of North Carolina women's golf program announced its complete schedule for the 2019-20 season Friday. For the second straight year, the Tar Heels' campaign begins with the Cougar Classic Sept. 8-10 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Carolina's fall slate is highlighted by the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational (formerly known as The Franklin Street Invitational), one of the top tournaments in the country since its inception in 1976. Carolina will host the invitational Oct. 11-13 at UNC's Finley Golf Course. Fans are encouraged to attend and watch the Tar Heels compete in their lone home tournament of the season.
Mirroring the 2018 fall schedule, UNC will also travel to the Mason Rudolph Championship in Nashville, Tennessee Sept. 20-22, and the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, North Carolina Oct. 25-27 during the fall slate.
In 2020, North Carolina begins the spring at the Moon Golf Invitational at the Duran Gold Club in Melbourne, Florida Feb. 17-18. Up next is the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate March 6-8 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
During spring break, Carolina will travel west to the Clover Cup in Mesa, Arizona, March 13-15 at the Longbow Golf Club. The Tar Heels again wrap up the regular season at the Bryan National Collegiate, April 5-7 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The postseason begins when the Tar Heels return to the state of South Carolina for the ACC Championships on April 24-26 at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawley's Island, S.C..
Following the ACC Championships, the NCAA regional tournaments will be hosted by Georgia, Notre Dame, NC State and Washington State from May 11-13. The NCAA Championships will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona at The Grayhawk Golf Club from May 22-27.
