Boosters, Alumni and Fans

A booster, or representative of the institution's athletic interests, is anyone who:
Â
o  Promotes Carolina athletics program.
o  Provides a donation or financial contribution to Carolina athletics; or participated in or has been a member of an organization promoting the university's athletics program.Â
o  Has purchased season tickets for any Carolina athletics program.    Â
o  Assists in the recruitment of prospects for the University of North Carolina.
o  Provides benefits (e.g., employment, occasional meals) to enrolled student-athletes or their families.
o  Assisted or has been requested by university staff to assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Once an individual is identified as a "representative of the institution's athletics interests," the person retains that identity forever.
