
Tar Heels 2-2 During Men's Competition At Duke Meet

DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina men's fencing team went 2-2 Saturday at the Duke Meet, winning the first two matchups before falling in the second two at Duke's Card Gym.
The Tar Heels opened with wins over MIT (17-10) and Brandeis (15-12) before falling to Johns Hopkins (14-13) and No. 4 Penn State (19-8).
Action continues on Sunday, with the Tar Heel women competing. They'll begin at 9:30 a.m. against MIT then face No. 9 Penn State at 11 a.m. In the afternoon session, Carolina takes on Brandeis at 3 and No. 5 Temple at 4:30.
