Nike and its Jordan Brand subsidiary has provided student-athletes and coaches at the University of North Carolina with the best shoes, uniforms and gear since the early 1990s.
UNC and Nike, including its Jordan Brand, announced a 10-year extension of their partnership on December 19, 2018. UNC Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham also announced personal service contracts for four head coaches with Nike that day.

Nike and Jordan Brand provide the athletic department with shoes, uniforms, travel gear, coaching gear, balls and other equipment. Carolina and Nike's partnership began in 1993.
