Kelly To Be Inducted Into California Chapter Of The National Wrestling Hall Of Fame

CHAPEL HILL – UNC Assistant Coach Jamill Kelly will be inducted into the California Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 24. He is a part of 10 inductees in the 2021 class.
The Atwater, California native was a two-time NCAA qualifier for Oklahoma State, and won a silver medal in the 2004 Olympics. The four-time U.S. National Team member was also a two-time World Team member, and he won silver medals in the Pan-Am Games in 2001 and 2003. Kelly also served as the USA Cadet World Team Coach from 2013-15 and a coach for the USA Junior World Team in 2016.
Kelly has been on the Carolina wrestling staff since October 2020, and he is also the head coach of the Tar Heel Wrestling Club.
