Gerard, Greaser Named to Haskins Award Watch List

University of North Carolina men's golfers Ryan Gerard and Austin Greaser are among the 15 players on the Haskins Award Fall Watch List, which was selected by a panel of media from Golfweek and Golf Channel.

The Haskins Award is presented annually to the top player in collegiate men's golf.

Gerard is a fifth-year senior from Raleigh, who won the Rod Myers Invitational at Duke and led the team in the four fall tournaments with a 69.75 stroke average. He finished sixth, seventh and 11th in his other three starts this semester.

Greaser is a junior from Vandalia, Ohio. He has followed up a runner-up finish at the 2021 U.S. Amateur at historic Oakmont Country Club with a win at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational and two other top-10 finishes.

Greaser and Gerard rank first and third, respectively, in Carolina's career stroke average.
