Meet the Heels: #42 Hannah George

This week's Meet the Heels segment continues with the juniors. Hannah George is a pitcher from Columbus, Georgia. With 23 career wins, the junior tossed nine complete games in 2020. Highlighted by a win against No. 2 Alabama, George tossed 60 strikeouts in 96.2 innings as a sophomore. At the plate, George had a pair of multi-hit games against NC Central and UNCG.

Why Carolina? I chose Carolina because it felt like home the moment I stepped on campus.
Favorite Softball Memory: My favorite UNC memory was in 2019, my freshman year, when we beat FSU on ESPNU twice. That whole weekend was fun, we got to slip n slide on the field during a rain delay and do the cotton eye joe line dance.
