Nine Wrestlers Listed in First NCAA Coaches Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA released coaches' panel rankings on Thursday, the first set of rankings of the 2020-21 NCAA Division I Wrestling season. The NCAA also released the number of automatic qualifying positions for each conference as it prepares for the 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in St. Louis, Missouri. In total, the ACC received 33 automatic qualifier spots.
Nine Tar Heels are listed in the initial rankings, led by No. 2 Austin O'Connor at 149 pounds. Full rankings can be found at this link.
