Cunningham Responds To Executive Order On Fan Attendance
February 24, 2021 | General
We are pleased that today's Executive Order will allow us to invite fans back to our athletic venues. We currently are working with the University, state officials and local health experts on a plan that will continue to emphasize safety and community standards. Our priorities will continue to be allowing family members of student-athletes and coaches, as well as Carolina students, into our arenas. We also will work to include faculty, staff, Rams Club members and sponsors when and where we can.
With multiple facilities under different capacity guidelines, we are still finalizing details, and we will announce our plans as soon as they are complete. I appreciate the outstanding thought, planning and effort from the many people who have worked so hard over the past year to make our venues safe and welcoming for our students-athletes, coaches, staff and fans.
- Bubba Cunningham, Director of Athletics
