Carolina Wrestling Announces 2021-22 ACC Opponents

CHAPEL HILL – The University of North Carolina's wrestling program has announced its ACC opponents for the 2021-22 season.
Coming off of its highest finish at the NCAA Championship since 1995 where the Tar Heels placed 16th, Carolina will host two conference matches and compete away from Carmichael Arena three times.
The Tar Heels will begin conference competition against Duke (Jan. 21-23) before traveling to the University of Virginia (Jan. 28-30). Carolina will welcome the University of Pittsburgh (Feb. 4-6) before finishing the slate at Virginia Tech (Feb. 11-13) and NC State (Feb. 18-20).
Exact dates and times will be announced at a later date.
In 2020-21, the Tar Heels went 3-2 against the field with wins against No. 15 Pittsburgh (23-12), No. 21 Virginia (25-9) and Duke (29-9).
