Lachlan McNeil To Compete In Junior World Championships

CHAPEL HILL - Lachlan McNeil, who signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of North Carolina's wrestling program in Nov. 2020, will compete at the Junior World Championships.
Over 500 athletes from 52 different nations will compete in Ufa, Russia, August 16-22 for junior world gold. Freestyle kicks off the schedule of events next Monday, with women's wrestling and Greco-Roman action following.
McNeil, representing Team Canada and wrestling at the 65 kg weight class, will begin wrestling on Monday, Aug. 16.
The Junior World Championships will be shown live on WrestlingTV.in from 11 AM local time.
