Crawley Reaches ITA All-American Singles Final

CARY, N.C. - Fiona Crawley has advanced to her second championship final at Cary Tennis Park in the last three weeks, and will play for the ITA All-American Championships Main Draw Singles title on Sunday.
No. 21 Crawley will face LSU's 24th ranked Kylie Collins in the championship match at 10 a.m. ET. A victory would allow Crawley to join Jamie Loeb (2013) as the only Tar Heel women's tennis players to capture the All-American singles crown.
Crawley was up against teammate Carson Tanguilig in one of the two semifinals on Saturday morning and continued her outstanding play this fall with a 6-3, 6-3, win over the 28th ranked sophomore.
In the bottom half of the bracket, Carolina's Anika Yarlagadda's remarkable run in the event came to a halt at the hands of Collins, 6-2, 6-4.
Yarlagadda won all three qualifying matches to reach the main draw and put together three more victories to give UNC three of the four semifinalist, believed to be the first time one program had three competitors in the semis.
