Aranza Vazquez Named ACC Women's Diver Of The Week

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina's Aranza Vazquez was named ACC Women's Diver of the Week for the second time this season the league office announced on Tuesday.
Vazquez won the 3-meter event for the second straight meet scoring a 351.00 as the No. 17 Tar Heels took down the 23rd-ranked Gamecocks. She scored over 300 points in both events, adding a zone score of 312.00 in the 1-meter.
A junior from La Paz, Mexico, Vazquez has collected the weekly award five times since arriving on campus ahead of the 2020-21 season. She was named ACC Diver of the Year as a freshman.
