Four Fencers Named All-Region

The North Carolina fencing program placed four athletes on the US Fencing Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic/South All-Region Team. Sophia Mandour and Henry Shugart earned second team honors in foil and epee, respectively.Â
Sofia Molho was named honorable mention in foil, while Cam Santos was selected honorable mention in epee.Â
Mandour is the lone Tar Heel to compete this weekend at the NCAA Championship in Notre Dame, Indiana.Â
