April 13, 2022 | Women's Tennis
North Carolina extended its stay as the No. 1 team in the latest Division I Women's ITA Collegiate Tennis National Team Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, released on Wednesday.Â
North Carolina enters the final weekend of the regular season having already wrapped up the top seed at the upcoming ACC Championship and remain the only unbeaten team in Division I women's tennis with a 23-0 record and a 12-0 mark against the conference.
In addition to Team Rankings, both Singles and Doubles Rankings were also released.Â
Senior Cameron Morra leads a group of five singles players listed in the national rankings this week. Morra checks in at No. 4, a ranking that equals her lowest of the season that also occurred back on Feb. 9.Â
Junior Elizabeth Scotty moved up one place to No. 17. Sophomores Reilly Tran and Fiona Crawley are No. 24 and No. 45, respectively, while freshman Carson Tanguilig is No. 48.
Crawley and Scotty continue their strangle hold on the top spot in the doubles rankings.Â
