Women's Tennis Adds Trio Of New Tar Heels

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The reigning national champion North Carolina Tar Heels announced their 2023 signing class on Monday. The Tar Heels will welcome three signees who each ranked within the top 100 recruits in the country.

Tatum Evans
Hometown: McLean, Virginia

Susanna Maltby

- 3x National L2 Doubles Champion in 2022. (Rome, GA, Chattanooga, TN, & Sumpter, SC)
- 2022 16s Southern Closed Champion
- North Carolina State Tar Heel Qualifier Girl's 16s and 18s Champion.
- Finished in the top 8 at Clay Courts.
- 2022 National Level 1: USTA Girls' 16 National Clay Court Championships.
- Quarterfinalist in doubles at National Hard Courts and final 12 in singles.
- 2022 National Level 1: USTA Girls' 16 National Hard Court Championships.
