Tar Heels 8th In Learfield Directors' Cup

Next-To-Last Season Standings Released
The University of North Carolina is eighth in the next-to-final standings in the 2022-23 Learfield Directors' Cup sponsored by NACDA.
One championship – the men's College World Series – remains to be played, and to date Carolina has amassed 1030.5 points.
Stanford, which is one of eight teams in the baseball World Series, has clinched the top spot with 1339 points. Texas, whom the Cardinal defeated in the super regional to advance to Omaha, is currently second.
Ohio State, Southern California and Georgia round out the top five. Michigan, Virginia, Carolina, Florida and Tennessee currently hold the six through 10 spots in the standings.
The final standings will be released after the conclusion of the College World Series.
