"We are thrilled and thankful to be part of the inaugural St. Andrews Collegiate," says Andrew DiBitetto, head coach of the UNC men's golf team. "It's been a tremendous effort by NBC Sports, the GOLF Channel, and the St Andrews Link Trust to put this together. This new tournament will be an incredible experience and opportunity for our golf programs, especially our student-athletes."

"It is an honor to be competing in the St. Andrews Collegiate," says Aimee Neff, head coach of the UNC women's golf team. "This is an incredible opportunity for our programs to play at one of the most revered courses in golf in an event televised by the GOLF Channel. We take pride in providing our student-athletes with amazing experiences that will give them lifetime memories. Having the opportunity to play the course steeped with the most history is a gift. We want to make history of our own there and represent Tar Heels everywhere with pride."
